Infighting over ideology in PDP affects governance: Vakil

Excelsior Correspondent
NOWPORA, Nov 14: Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today said that infighting over ideology in PDP has affected the governance instruments in J&K as bureaucrats are confused due to different standards of governance in Coalition Government.
Addressing public meeting at Nowpora in Sopore today, Vakil said  that PDP for the lust of power pushed the State into an ideological conflict. He said that revolt and recent statements of senior PDP leaders has created a mess like situation and uncertainty in the administration besides confused all bureaucrats as well the district administration and lower rung officers.
Vakil accused PDP and NC of back stabbing people of the State during their tenures. He said their moral bankruptcy pushed people to the wall and even deprived them of basic and necessary amenities. He said that both the parties rather than mitigating the miseries of the people of the State amassed huge wealth and left no stone unturned to exploit them on Autonomy or Self Rule.
Former minister said that now time is demanding a complete revamp of the political dimensions and system in the whole State as people are now fed up of the conventional and monopolized political position. He said that all the like minded and secular politicians must get united to change the fortunes of the poor people of the State without any delay.
While commenting on the so called package announced by Prime Minister with hype, Vakil said it was nothing but a mere eyewash as nothing solid has been done for the flood effected people, farmers, fruit growers and especially unemployed youth as the announcement was only to remain in news.
