Inimical forces trying to mislead gullible people: Yudhvir Sethi

Jammu, Aug 4: Calling upon civil society to be beware of nefarious designs of those who want to upset peace in the region, Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi said that certain forces are hell bent to disturb the social fabric of the peace loving society. He said some political parties which have been rejected by people are spreading false messages among gullible people and are creating hurdles in reopening of government schools, business establishments and public transport system.
He said main demand for AIIMS has been accepted and the Union Health Minister has already given commitment on the issue, but those who are inimical to peace are forcing people to join the false campaign.
“Today only when Government schools and shops were being opened in the Bhour camp area, the goons started hooliganism and in the melee people received injuries. One of the locals Suresh Sharma has sustained injuries and his tooth has been damaged,” he added.
He said an FIR has been filed for preventing opening of Higher Secondary School and Girls high school, Bhour camp and damaging the public property.
He said this while addressing a press conference at BJP head office, here today.
Condemning damages done to public property and injuries to innocent people, Yudhvir said that the administration would not let the peace get disturbed and all out security arrangements would be put in place to ensure that life of common pubic does not get disturbed by those elements who wish to score political points out of the present situation.
“I appeal my fellow people not to fall prey to those so called leaders who have nothing to offer except hollow promises and are creating trouble by damaging public property and putting innocent lives at stake,” he added.
He said members of the Coordination Committee should also realise that common people are suffering and everybody wants to start routine life. Children need to attend schools, hospitals, offices, business establishments and transport system should start functioning normally so that people are not made to suffer more, he added.
Sanjay Baru, Vijay Chowdhary, Pitamber Sharma, Suresh Sharma, Ashok Ranyal, Sanjeev Kumar, Inder Khajuria and Kuldeep Singh Senti were present during the press conference.
