Srinagar July 15: Jammu & Kashmir RTI Movement has demanded that patients with serious injuries especially those injured due to pellets should be airlifted to Delhi and other cities so that they get specialized treatment. ” Discussing this issue on TV channels is not going to help these injured boys and girls. The need of the hour is to airlift them outside J&K so that they get specialized treatment. It is the duty of State to make such arrangement” said Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat founder of Jammu Kashmir  RTI Movement.
He said that team of  eye surgeons which came to Srinagar on Thursday could not operate even a single patient as they saw such type of injuries for the first time in their medical career. “When the eye surgeons could not operate even a single patients , what was the fun of sending them to Srinagar and making all hue and cry about it Raja  Muzaffar added.
” We appeal Chief Minister to use State aircraft for carrying all the seriously injured patients to Delhi so that their life does not get disturbed in future. Authorities must give them a specialized treatment and use of pellet guns should be banned immediately” said Dr Mushtaq Khan another senior member of RTI Movement.
