Injured wild dear rescued

POONCH, Apr 15: An injured wild dear was today rescued by the Wild Life Department at Mastandra, in Potha area of Surankote in Poonch.
Official sources said that the dear was critically injured due to dog bite on the back who was saved by people and later rescued by the wild Life Control Room staff at Surankote. The young dear was shifted to Veterinary Centre Potha and later shifted to Rajouri for further medical treatment.
Incharge BO, Tatakuti Wildlife Century Pawan Kumar said that as per the doctors dear was injured due to dog bite. He said department is treating dear at Rajouri and after the animal becomes healthy, we will leave the dear in the same habitat.
