Srinagar, Jan 6: An inmate of sub-jail Baramulla in North Kashmir died due to “brain hemorrhage” today.
“Ghulam Nabi Bhat son of Abdul Khaliq (45), a resident of Hakbara, Hajin, Bandipora was immediately taken to hospital after he complained of severe headache”, police said.
The doctors in the hospital, however, declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased was arrested several months back in a murder case and was lodged in sub-jail Baramulla. Police said that Bhat died to due to brain hemorrhage.
