Inner Voice

Scholar’s Resolve

The change of wind that binds
and unwinds the mind
Fate sets it right what seems
challenging in all what you find
Before I quit, I wish to analyze,
what’s being a scholar now I realize
Promise to be honest, original
and of course nice
Mentors’ blessings….My triumphs…hopefully may make all surprise
Satan seeks to see who he can destroy
Oh my God, let it capture ignorance
not my joy
Who compared success, I couldn’t perform to a lesser Sky
Seemed logical, even impossible say,
Why not why!
Aftermath, once assigned
with a searching task,
Sincerely I am striving to be
not the usual mask.
To know subtle..grind it far…
For what meets eyes or ears seldom fall
Knowledge to adore is far
more to reason or rhyme
It’s a beginning, a finale
or just learning so prime!
So I surpass fear, resolute
the dare and never ever Cry
a million thoughts emerge,
once Glory and goodness are my ploy
just wish me..Good Luck..say
hi..and never a bye!
Coz’ I know nothing grooms a career unless I try, try, try….!!!

TRAPPED

Sugar-coated poisonous temptation
set me free
For when in this room of concrete walls
I am looking for that green-green tree.
I run, here and there, face falls
But keep my head-up, I ought
to keep mydegrees.
O! Wicked temptation set me free.
The window is but an illusion:
It shows the movements of the world;
I sit on my chair near the window, my wings
are aching, I smell the diffusion
Of the aroma of my trapped talent
In the four walls : trapped and curled.
Sugar-coated temptation set me free
For my eyes now see
The poison under the sugar layer
As an imitation of manna-dew
that I cannot share.
My words are coming back to my ears
Like the wisdom of someone dear,
I fail to understand the meaning of my fears
When all I have here is me and me near.
No creature can now set me free
Neither God can take me to that tree
O! Wicked temptation you will, I know,
Will never set me free
So I will let you try to tempt me
But from now on you will never get to see me.

Clean India

‘Clean India’ there should be
We don’t need anyone
The job can be done
By you and me
Cleaning the cupboards and the floors
These are simple household chores
To clean the surroundings, we don’t need a crew
The job can be done
By me and you
We should do this
It’s OUR duty
If we do,
Our surroundings will be a beauty.
Of course, everybody knows
Cleanliness makes everything
as fresh as a rose
We must have a place for everything and everything in its place
To our India, we mustn’t bring disgrace
Squalor all around – we all hate
But no cleaning – I don’t appreciate
These efforts will not go in vain
We won’t see filth again.
