SALUTE TO SOLDIER

Her child is the light of her soul from baby in her arm to an adult they will grow.
On the top of Siachin the air is so cold but the man who is burried under the snow is very bold.
There deep under the snow you were battling for life, sometimes thinking about your Mother Daughter and Wife.
You open your eyes but can’t remember what for, snow falls quietly but u can’t feel it anymore.
You have lost to feel the pain tried to raise your hand but all in vain.
The wind is blowing around like an ice slice; you go into the deep sleep as you are covered in ice.
Ah!   Someone screams for you, everyone tries to pull you but you would not feel and hear what they say,
Because you made your choice and you chose to go away.
Tears frozen in the snow chill and all stand with pain and still.
And the brave soldier now lost.  I just think at what cost!
Some will never forget you but many won’t remember you.

We salute
Indian Army
The protector of our borders
Which has to fail every design of the aggressor
To check their advancement
Face war, so that peace is restored
We salute
Our brave soldiers
Who lay down their lives
To protect our lives.
We salute their families
Who remain separated from them
Facing all sort of difficulties
As they keep guarding our borders
In the line of duty
And we live comfortably with our families
We salute our Navy and Air Force
Which protect our sea and sky
To prevent the enemy
Not to enter our territory
Our army helps in time of calamities
Natural disasters-floods and earth quakes
Extends hand of good-will to those
Misguided by the enemy’s propaganda
Renders all sort of aid in times of distress
Our army respects human rights
Is free from discrimination of
Caste, colour and creed
The brave army sacrifices its Jawans
So that citizens may live in peace
We respect their sacrifices
We honour our martyrs
We care for their families
May we ever remain grateful to our
Great Indian army.

DYING SOLDIER

I feel  no pain of the bullets on my chest,
But cry aloud when they attack my nest,
Will protect my land till I breathe my last,
Will protect my brothers no matter what caste,
No bullet of foe can get me killed,
Am killed when see the hatred being spilled,
Writing anti-national they hold a placard,
Don’t they know that this hits me hard,
My land, my mother you need not fear,
Thousands like me are there to bear,
I die and look my people are mourning,
Don’t they know there’s a new morning,
Yes at last paid the credit of my land,
Give me a farewell with pipe and band.

BELIEF

Belief-’Small’ or ‘Big’, is a belief and that’s it.
Like a small nut eventually growing into a big tree.
It’s belief that grows on its spree.
Beliefs-‘Small’ or ‘Big’
Are important for making things happen.
For Bible itself says-
Ye shall get what ‘Ye’ wants even
if ‘Ye’ has a grain size, belief.
I too have beliefs
For they are only my reliefs
That add to my account of positively
like pearls, emeralds add to treasury.
They give me the direction
So that I can proceed for
appropriate action.
They are a delight for the painstaking mind.
That helps  to make happiness and bliss rewind.
Whosoever young or old
Be it a human or a load
One who’s beliefs for best
And works for it as if for a test
Only for those it works
And in that the wish of ‘God’ rests.
