FURIOUS RUDRA
Suddenly horrendous hurricane blew furiously
lashing the entire KedarNath Valley into a
rubbish rubble of devastation, destroying
the life around as if a hulk demon –
thirsty and hungry, growling voraciously…
The burst of soaking sighs and curious cries
converting the Holy town into a slushy
sludge of disbelief, sacred hymns stuck
within the throat, pilgrims wailing in Lord’s fury
Alas! A pilgrimage of demise…
Rills, tarns, rivulets and brooks
lost their identity, were flooded
with gushing flow of a muddy
ocean, gnawing hoarsely with a
froth of annoyance and awful looks…
In hundreds and thousands people died,
nobody counted or cared for ailing or wounded,
distress and chaos was echoing around,
families lost their kith and kin – believe me,
no filmy situation, script not exaggerated or lied…
Whom to blame – the weather or the human sins
which have piled up in enormous heaps
under the garb of pilgrimage – busy and engaged
in the realms of lust and greed
to a pub or shrine they donate for wins…
Despite the devastation and fury, Lord’s corridor
is safe because of the Lord’s abode, Lord’s podium,
Lord’s citadel and Lord’s temple;
to the ignorants, atheists and pseudo-saints
it’s the Lord’s warning – loud and clear, but in a roar…
The viewers astonished and wonderstruck to see
the Lord’s image bisecting the mad waves
and crazy currents in divine meditation
and automation perhaps listening to the sufferings
of his devotees because all merciful and blissful is ‘He’…
Wake up countrymen and salute the soldiers –
the ‘Narayani Sena’ of Mother India
who jumped into the fray and fury
and are in a rescue operation putting
their lives at stake along with brave volunteers…

Uttarakhand disaster
Sweeping away everything,
those giant waves and RAINDROPS,
mourning shrieks over departed souls,
Unstoppable – THOSE TEARDROPS.
Broken homes , collapsed bridges,
and a shaken bedrock of belief.
Hungry children , stranded families,
Starving for a sigh of relief.
Yet some noble saviours ,
Though unsung , still on their toes.
Who’re helping the victims of Uttarakhand ,
Lets salute our selfless heroes.
I request thee- Oh noble readers!
lets do our little share,
for a word of prayer or a penny of aid,
Might wife off somebody’s tear .

                                     “FAMILY LOVE”
Happiness but its altogether missing now.
disagreements on favouring one child over the other is virtually sending children away in distress and loneliness. discouragment over ones qualities over the other makes jealousy and animosity to grow among family now. disturbances and discord over wealth is another stumbling block in family love now but as children grow parents get even older it becomes imperative and dutiful now to recognie the growing problem in family. the regular family outings ; the family meetings at the dinner; the togetherness on holidays; the sharing of work; sharing of caregiving tasks are ensured to make family love sustain this era of changes and withstand all hitchhiking of life. the growing children need to discuss their problems to
their family seek advises. Family is always open hearted clear headed and
honest and its love is out of bounds. Family tree needs to be cherished experienced cared and watered.Never let it dry in summers of sorrow. As Mother teresa said…..” if you want to search and
find love in world , start from your family , search love Nad love
Your
family
first.”
