Inner Voice

        My life, my way

This is my life
I will llive it my way
No matter what the world says
I have my dreams
I will surely fulfill them by good means
I am confident that Iwill succeed
Because I do believe in my deeds
Nothing can make me stop
Because with me is my God
No matter how much obstacles
come to me daily
I will overcome them gaily
I will live my life my way
When I do what I am interested in
My face lights  up with a wide grin
I will do what I like
Then only I will thrive
Because this is my life
I will live it my way
No matter what the world says. . . . .

WORLD OF HUMBUGS

Each one of us
Wearing a mask dawn to dusk
No wrinkles, no tanning
A lot of makeup and still bramming…
This is what we do
With our lips a fake smile
With our words a fake appreciation…
Maybe this the depletion
of human creation…
Till the end we’ll wear a mask
All unchanged with a hasty smile…
No more a tasty laugh
Just a designer scarf
To hide all the mistakes
Done in the past…!!

Demonetisation

The 8’O Clock declration left the nation
in complete turmoil and clutter,
The old, long, strenuously earned money,
left like an unfaithful lover
Many people had kept aside their financial assests for cheerful and unfortunate days,
But to their dismay, it all turned to ashes and day
The empty handed and poverty-stricken people where left handicapped the most,
The new currency was still not with them, made it
difficult for even having a toast
The aged, the weak and the shaking hands had to stand for long hours in the bank que
It made their health even worse,
and the depression grew.
Many family functions and
assignments were called off and terminated
The soceity witnessed many problems,
many of which went unstated.
The bidding of farewell to black
money too had some loop holes,
It may the daily chores, difficult, as life on north pole.

I refuse to sink

Years may come and years may go,
But in the race of life I am never gonna slow.
Every day lightens me up,
Every night soothes me.
But in between there is a shadow,
That follows me wherever I go.
Love keeps me in heart,
Hate keeps me in mind.
Choose the one or the other and,
See rising me higher, if you are not blind.
I may sit for a while but never stop,
People will see smile and hear me laugh.
The price of being a wolf is lonliness,
The price of being a sheep is boredom.
But a queen is never afraid of prices,
As long as she has the king in her kingdom.
My demons keep me burning,
My angels keep me enlightening.
No matter how deep the sea of life is,
I refuse to sink.
