Rakhi is an occasion when sister is proud
Protection promise gets from brother
To express love she ties colourful thread
Brother feels proud of affection
Earth could not resist occasion
She spreads colourful rainbow on sky
To bind wrist of sky
Both feel proud of each other
Earth gets promise from sky for care
From scorching heat and flood of rains
Cool breeze with full food bowl
Freedom for birds to chrip and fly
Brother on earth promised
Protection from all evils
Comes to rescue on call
Tie colourful Rakhi every year
Eyes of sister get flooded with tears
Tears of love and affection
She gets secured of worldy evils
She blesses silently from heart
Brother gets the silent message
Tears of love occupied space
In eyes of both sister & brother
Both parted in tears
With shower of blessings
Message was silent with smile
Both understood with deep sigh.

Bandhan is not just a word of seven letters
It encircles the love of whole world
A festival of siblings ,
A festival of love and care ,
Isn’t it astonishing ,
That a piece of thread keeps us near
Few ties are soo deep and profound
And with soo much affection
A thread is abound
Happiness in our hearts and faces glow
Streams of joy and peace are in flow
Its a thread that binds two souls
In abound of joy forever,
No matter how farther we are,
It brings happy days together
It grows continously as we grow,
A day whose value we know,
Many things siblings share ,
And this is nurtured with parent’s care,
I wish it comes with happiness

Accept yourself
That’s all that I can say
Let your inner voice tell you
The way to live your day
Do not be hard upon yourself
That never did no good
Just be happy, never worry
It’s foolish that one should.

Cause you’re a one off too
No one else can play your part
Nobody can be you
It’s a lovely world we live in
Let it seep into your soul

Most people call me crazy
But I love being me
I do not care what others think
