JAMMU, June 22: The Government has ordered an inquiry against the Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir SCARD Bank Limited.

As per an order, Mohammad Shafiq Chak, Registrar Cooperatives, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to probe into various complaints levelled against the MD of the Bank.
He (Inquiry Officer) has been asked to submit his report in the matter within a period of one month.
It has been further ordered that the MD SCARD Bank Limited during the period of enquiry shall remain attached with the Managing Director, J&K State Cooperative Bank Limited Srinagar and Administrator of the J&K SCARD Bank Limited Srinagar shall look after the charge of the MD during the period of inquiry.
