SRINAGAR, June 22: Haris Ahmad Handoo, Vice-Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority, has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer into the matter of alleged misconduct of President Municipal Committee, Yaripora, namely Mohd Yousuf Khan for abusing official powers.
An order in this regard has been issued by the Housing & Urban Development Department, according to which, the Inquiry Officer shall submit the inquiry report within a period of 10 days from the date of issuance of the order.
It has been further ordered that Mohd Rafeeq Bhat, Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir shall be the Presiding Officer in the case.
