JAMMU, June 8: Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina, today ordered enquiry against a PG doctor after a video went viral, showing the doctor using abusive language against an attendant, Health Minister, Dr DK Manyal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the video, which the official sources said is of last night in the emergency of the hospital, a PG doctor identified as Dr Sharang Gupta of Surgery Department while in a verbal duel with the attendants of a patient, was seen using abusive and unparliamentarily language against the attendants as well as Health and Education Minister, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal and PM Narendra Modi, that too on duty.
When contacted, Principal, GMCH Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina, said she has received no complaint in this connection so far but after seeing the video, in which the doctor is using abusive language, a three-member enquiry committee comprising Dr Naseeb Digra, Dr Dara Singh and Dr Sanjay Basin, has been constituted to probe the matter. The committee will submit its report till tomorrow afternoon, she added.
