JAMMU, May 25: J&K Sangram Sena (JKSS) along with Dogra Liberation Front, Hindu Raksha Samiti and Freedom Fighters Jammu demanded installation of Prof Ram Nath Shastri statue at Amphalla Chowk, here today.
The demand was raised during the meeting which was organised by Sangram Sena president RK Raina along with Kapil Sharma, president Dogra Liberation Front and chairman All India Consumer Forum, J&K, Ram Pal Sharma president Hindu Jagran Manch and other working body members.
While addressing the meeting, Raina said that Prof late Ram Nath Shastri was a legend who boosted the Dogri language. He was awarded with Padma Shri for his outstanding contribution for the promotion of Dogri.
He demanded that a statue of the late Prof should be installed at Amphalla Chowk, so that the great writer remains alive in the heart of the coming generation.
