JAMMU, Mar 31: Sangram Sena has pleaded to install the statue of late Prof Ram Nath Shastri at Ambphalla Chowk, so that the great writer may remain alive in the hearts of coming generations.
This was stated in a meeting led by Ram Rattan Raina, president Sangram Sena, who stressed upon to remember Shastriji, a legend who boosted the Dogri language and was later awarded Padam Shree Award for his life time achievement in Dogri language.
Others who attended the meeting were Capt Rattan Singh, Rajesh Banathia, Bushan Gupta, Balwan Singh, Sham Lal Sharma, Ravi Singh, Arjun Singh, Raju Jamwal, Ram Pal Sharma and leaders of Dogra Liberation Front, Hindu Raksha Simiti, Freedom Fighters Association Jammu and other working body members.
