JAMMU, Feb 27: Citizens Welfare & Development Committee (CWDC), Jammu has urged upon the higher authorities in the Power Development Department to install two additional transformers at Miran Sahib as promised by the concerned authorities.
R K Sharma president of the Council said that power supply position was grim in Miran Sahib area. He said the concerned M&RE wing had made DPRs for augmentation of power supply and three additional transformers were sanctioned. The funds for the same were also sanctioned. But it is unfortunate that for the last about four years now, only one transformer was installed instead of three. He demanded installation of two additional 10 MVA electric transformers in the identified areas.
