SAMBA, Mar 24: An Inter Collegiate seminar was organized at Bhargava Degree College, Samba on the topic “Women Empowerment – Challenges and Issues”, today.
Eight Colleges participated in the seminar in which Govt GL Dogra Memorial College stood first, Govt. Degree College, Samba bagged second place and Bhargava College of Engineering & Technology Supwal, Samba claimed third position.
Chairman of the College, Parkash Sharma was chief guest, while Dr Satinder Singh, Principal Govt Degree College for Women, Kathua was the guest of honour.
Prizes were distributed among the participants by the chairman and guest of honour.
Dr. Vijay and Principal, Prof VS Hans conducted the proceedings of the seminar.
