Inter-collegiate symposium held

KATHUA, Mar 19: Inter-collegiate symposium on “Relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in the present times” was organized in Government Degree College (GDC) here.
On the occasion, Roop Lal Bharti, former member of JKPSC was the chief guest, while Dr Nater Singh, Principal, GDC Kathua was also present.
The symposium was organized in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family J&K who also gave the cash prizes to the winning students.
Vishal Pathania from GDC Kathua, Shubam Sharma from GGLDM Degree College Hiranagar and Tanvi Mahajan from GDC Kathua, bagged the first, second and third prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. Roopali Jasrotia got the consolation prize.
Dr Bharat Bushan, CEO Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Dr AK Malhotra, Ex-Principal and Dr Ram Krishan, Ex-Principal were the jury members.
Among others present were Duni Chand, former Session Judge, Subash Sharma and Ramesh Chander, Senior Advocates, Dr Sangeeta, Dr Anita, Prof Anoop Sharma, etc.
