Inter-state burglar among two held

JAMMU, Sept 29: Two persons including inter-state burglar were arrested along with stolen jewellery and other items worth Rs 1.50 lakh.
A police spokesman said that, a police team constituted by SSP Jammu Uttam Chand to work out a burglary case arrested two persons including inter-state burglar and stolen jewellery worth Rs 1.50 lakh was recovered from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Romesh Yadev, son of Sangham Lal of Uttar Pradesh and Ravi Kumar, son of late Vaishno Dass of Old Rehari.
On their disclosure, police recovered 1 diamond ring, 1 gold ring with stone, 1 pair gold tops multi colour, 1 pair gold tops with pearls, 1 pair of tops plain, 2 silver coins, 1 silver crystal flower, 1 camera, 1 headphone, 1 mobile phone charger and two mobile batteries. The recovered property is worth Rs 1.50 lakh.
With the arrest of the accused, police solved a theft case registered under FIR number 130/15 under Section 381 RPC with police station Nowabad.
The questioning of the accused is going on and some more recoveries are likely to be effected.
Police team comprising of SDPO West Vivek Shekhar, SHO Inspector Karan Chalotra and Incharge Police Post Talab Tillo SI Sumeet Sharma arrested the burglars under the supervision of SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chauhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
