Interaction program with AoL experts organized at GCET

JAMMU, Sept 7: An interaction programme with experts of Art of Living (AoL) foundation was organized at Government College of Engineering and Technology for students of the institution.
The team of experts from Art of Living foundation (SELP), Bangalore–Rohit Ranjan, Manjeet Singh, Kousar Razvi, Amarjyot and Shruti, discussed and gave the students demonstration on breathing techniques and activities, helping them in improving their concentration and clarity of mind. The aim of the program was to make the newly admitted students to boost confidence, enhance creativity, regulate time management, and develop interpersonal relationships and leadership skill.
The AoL team also started SELP (Students Excellence & Learning Program) and State Coordinator Bureau of Communications, DDC and SSRDP-Government projects. Ajay Kapoor delivered lecture to explore students’ academics interests and motivate them to work for excellence, promote bonding among themselves and build character to meet the future challenges of life.
Dr Sameru Sharma, Principal GCET, while speaking on the occasion, encouraged the students to participate in various activities that used to be held in the premises from time to time in order to instill the humanistic values, philanthropic spirits and overall nurturing of good instincts.
The initial phase of the programme was followed by lectures and interactive sessions by experts and eminent speakers drawn from reputed institutes like Art of living foundation (SELP), Bangalore, UIET Chandigarh, IIT Jammu and across the State.
