Interlocutors report modified agenda of separatists: RSS

Excelsior Correspondent
NEW DELHI, June 9: Justifying the report published in Rashtirya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) mouth piece organiser that Central interlocutors recommendations on J&K be consigned to dustbin, the RSS think tank and Seh Samparakh Parmukh, Ram Madhav today said that no credence be given to the report as it is against the basic fundamentals on which there was a total understanding since the Nehruvian era.
Talking to Excelsior the RSS leader said the interlocutors recommendations would take State to greater separation as it was toeing the line of separatists.
Totally opposing the report he said its recommendations for making Article 370 a permanent feature of the Indian Constitution can’t be acceptable to the patriotic people of the country as there was also a total understanding on the issue that this Article should be abrogated.
While outright rejecting the report Ram Madhav said it calls Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK) as Pak Administered Jammu & Kashmir (PAJK), which is also not acceptable to nationalist forces in the country as there is Parliament resolution of 1994 that PoK is an integral part of India. Moreover, review of all Central laws, which have been enforced in the State since 1953 as suggested by the interlocutors is totally against the entire spirit in which the successive Union Governments tackled Kashmir issue since 1947.
“By further reducing the number of Central services in J&K including IAS, IPS and IFS officers indicates that this report is nothing except the modified agenda of separatists’’, Mr Madhav added.
Earlier RSS has asked the Central Government to throw into the dustbin the report of interlocutors.
