SRINAGAR: Mobile internet services for postpaid connections, after remaining suspended for 134 days in violence hit Kashmir valley, have been restored.
However, the curb on internet services on prepaid services remained in force in Kashmir, where the ongoing unrest has left 90 civilians dead and over 10,000 others injured in security force action since July 8.
Official sources said the internet services were restored tonight following improvement in the situation in the valley. The mobile internet service was suspended immediately after top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) Burhan Wani and two other militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kokernag in Anantnag district on July 8 evening.
