INTEX industries’ workers hold demonstration, demand wages

SAMBA, June 3: The workers of INTEX Industries Bari Brahmana today staged a strong protest demonstration in the industrial complex against the industry management demanding the release of the three months pending wages.
According to the report at around 50 workers of the industry gathered in the industry premises under the leadership of Nar Singh, NC Jammu Province Labour Union president. The protestors raised slogans against the industry management. They alleged that they are already facing lot of trouble due to lockdown but the management of the industry has not released their three months pending wages, due to which they are facing lot of trouble.
They alleged that the industry management is not taking any cognizance of their problems and despite making several requests to the management of the industry in this regard their wages have not been released till date.
They warned if the industry management did not release their pending wages within three days they will be forced to come on streets.
