KATRA, Sept 16: International conference on “Mechanical Engineering and Allied Sciences” concluded at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra where the valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof Xizhang Chen and Prof Sergey Konovalov.
The TEQIP-III sponsored two-day conference was organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU which was attended by delegates and dignitaries of various institutions of national and international repute. Around 180 quality papers were presented in five different tracks and twelve parallel sessions.
Prof Chen of Wenzhou University, China and Prof Konovalov of Samara National Research University, Russia, delivered the invited talks. Prof R Arvind Singh and Prof S Jayalaxmi presented key note addresses. In total, 12 best paper awards in different categories were distributed.
The delegates expressed their satisfaction over the overall conduct of the event and desired looking forward to such events in near future. Sanjay Mohan Sharma, Convener of the event, presented a detailed report of the conference, whereas Mir Irfan Ul Haq presented the vote of thanks.
