UDHAMPUR, Oct 10: In a proud moment for the Union Territory, especially Udhampur district, an International UFC fighter Pawan Maan who is also a Super Fight League champion from Delhi, came to Udhampur for the surgical treatment of his dislocated hand and the fractured little finger by Dr Balvinder Singh of the J&K Government Health Services.
Internationally fame UFC fighter Pawan Maan had injured his little finger of left hand besides dislocation of the hand while practicing boxing. He travelled from Delhi to Udhampur for his treatment by Dr Balvinder Singh, Consultant Orthopedics, who is presently deployed at District Hospital Udhampur.
Talking to reporters here today, Pawan Maan said that he was treated by Dr Balvinder Singh for his injuries of hand including fracture and dislocation. He said that after the surgery he is feeling fine and fully satisfied with the surgical and post surgical treatment provided to him.
Maan said that he was surprised to find services par excellence in healthcare institution of Udhampur besides the worth appreciating hospitality and care shown by the staff of the institution. He said that he felt that J&K can become one of the best Health Tourism destinations of India especially in view of its moderate climatic conditions besides the captivating scenic beauty which makes the patient feel fresh during convalescing period.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Balvinder Singh is Consultant Orthopedics having done his Fellowship in Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy from Germany and as of today he is not only a renowned orthopedic surgeon but also a famous sports player of India. Prior to Pawan Maan, many other renowned sports players have already received treatment from Dr Balvinder Singh. Last year, an Indian football team player got his ankle treatment done by Dr Balvinder Singh in Jammu.
