JAMMU, Dec 21: Government has appointed an Inquiry Officer (IO) to enquire into the allegations leveled against suspended engineer Madan Gopal (the then I/c Assistant Engineer REW Udhampur).
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Kishore Kumar, I/c Superintending Engineer, PW(R&B) Circle Udhampur Reasi as inquiry Officer to enquire into the allegations leveled against Madan Gopal, the then I/c Assistant Engineer REW Udhampur, presently under suspension vide order Number 290-DRD of 2022 dated 03-08-2022, and repatriated to PW(R&B) Department by the Department of Rural Development and PR vide OM Number: RDD-REW/20/2022 (CC:252368),” said an order issued by Shailendra Kumar, Principal Secretary, PW(R&B) Department.
As per the Order, the Inquiry Officer shall submit his report/findings to the Administrative Department along with recommendation within 15 days. “Any transfer from this post shall not debar the Inquiry Officer,” it further mentioned.
