JAMMU, Apr 5: Government has accorded sanction to the appointment of Principal, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar as Inquiry Officer (IO) to enquire into the charges leveled against Dr Sajad Rouf and Dr Zeenat Hussain, the then Medical Officers, Central Jail, Srinagar.
“The Inquiry Officer shall submit detailed inquiry report along with his recommendations within 30 days,” said an order issued in this connection. It further mentioned that Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Srinagar shall be Presenting Officer to assist the Inquiry Officer to complete the inquiry within stipulated time period.
