JAMMU, Jan 7: The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has enhanced the cadre strength of IPS officers in the AGMUT cadre from 457 to 532.
The number of seats for induction into IPS has risen from 139 to 161.
Additionally, senior duty posts have been increased from 248 to 288, with Jammu and Kashmir’s share rising from 70 to 74.
