SRINAGAR: A senior police officer today had a narrow escape as a grenade hurled at his vehicle by militants missed the target in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
“At about 5 pm, militants hurled a grenade towards the bulletproof bunker vehicle of SDPO, Sopore Ashish Mishra (IPS) near the railway bridge at Tarzoo in Sopore,” a police official said.
He said the grenade missed the target and exploded on the roadside without causing any damage. (AGENCIES)
