SAMBA, May 22: Protesting against increasing acts of bovine smuggling the irate people of Mananu blocked Samba – Mansar road at Mananu today.
The protestors in large numbers squatted on the road shouted slogans against the administration for its failure to curtail the bovine smuggling in the area and warned to launch a movement against the same.
People said that during the intervening night the local people rescued bovine animals but the smugglers somehow managed to escaped from the spot.
