SAMBA, Mar 12: The irate residents of Nad today blocked Mansar road for 45 minutes in protest against the failure of CAPD to supply ration in the area in time.
The protestors said that despite repeated pleas to authorities they failed to open more CAPD depots in the village as the only one shop of CAPD is not in a position to cater to the needs of the area. Moreover the shop opens for few days in the month when ration supply reaches and hence can’t tackle the heavy rush.
The people demanded that two more ration supply shops be opened in the area failing which they will launch agitation.
