IRB Infra bags Rs 2,300 cr highway project from NHAI

NEW DELHI, May 7:  IRB Infrastructure today said it has bagged a Rs 2,300-crore project in Haryana from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
“IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd… Has emerged as a selected bidder and received letter of award from NHAI for the project of four-laning of Kaithal – Rajasthan border section of NH-152/65 from km 33.250 to 241.580 km in Haryana,” the company said in a statement.
The 166 km project will be executed on build, operate, transfer (BOT) toll model on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) pattern, it said.
The project falls under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) phase IV of the NHAI.
“The estimated project cost of the company is approximately Rs 2,300 crore with construction period of 910 days. The concession period for the same is 27 years,” the BOT road developer said.
With this project, IRB’s construction order book will increase from Rs 8,600 crore to about Rs 10,600 crore, to be executed in the next three to four years.
“This will boost the company’s construction order book visibility for next three to four years,” the company said.
IRB is an integrated infrastructure development and construction company with significant experience in the toll roads and highways sector.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 124, up 7 per cent on the BSE. (PTI)
