IRCS organizes medical camps at RS Pura, Shamachak

JAMMU, Apr 12: To provide proper health care facility at the door step of the people, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jammu region in collaboration with Punjab National Bank (PNB), Zonal Office, Jammu today organized two medical/eye check-up camps, one at RS Pura and other at Shamachak (Marh).
In the camps, a large number of patients of RS Pura tehsil and Shamachak (Marh) area of Jammu were examined by a team of Red Cross doctors viz. Dr Ranbhushan Singh (Senior Anesthetist Consultant), Dr Rajinder Thappa, Dr Kavita Nijhon, Dr Subash Chander, Dr Seema Raj and Dr Jyoti.
They were assisted by Kuldeep Bhat (Senior Ophth Assistant), Kanchan Devi (Supervisor Pharmacist, Joginder Kumar (Pharmacist), Vironica Marwah (field officer), Sudershan Singh and Sureshta Devi. Free medicines were also provided to the poor patients.
Earlier, the camps were inaugurated by General Managers of Punjab National Banks, RS Pura and Shamachak. The camps were successfully organized with the co-operation of Block Medical Officers of RS Pura and Marh, under the supervision of Dinesh Gupta, Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region.
