SRINAGAR, June 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s 10th Battalion of the Indian Reserve Police (IRP) organized a special training program for its personnel at the Battalion Training Center in Mattan, Anantnag, focusing on three new criminal laws.
Held from June 8 to June 15, 2024, the week-long program aimed to equip IRP personnel with a comprehensive understanding of these laws and effective implementation strategies.
The training featured extensive lectures from Master Trainers and various battalion speakers, providing insights and expertise on the new criminal laws.
Commandant Mubassir Latifi, SSP, along with other gazetted officers, actively participated in the discussions, focusing on the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
The Commandant also distributed certificates to personnel who successfully completed the program.
Feedback from all 194 participants was collected via Google Form, with officials expressing keen interest in further pursuing these courses by downloading the NCRB Sankalan App and registering on iGot Karmyogi.
The Commandant assured that more such courses would be organized in the future to equip police personnel with profound legal knowledge and investigative skills.
