JAMMU, Oct 1: Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 9th Battalion distributed study materials among the students of Government Middle School, Mangloogi Sangaldan, Gool, under Civic Action Programme.
On the occasion, Commandant, IRP 9th Battalion, VK Bali, was the chief guest, who distributed school uniforms, bags and study material among the students in presence of Principal Government Higher Secondary school, Sangaldan, Head Master of Government Middle School Mangloogi, Kamlesh Shoor Dy SP, officials of ZEO office Gool and local populace.
Speaking on the occasion, VK Bali informed that Police is distributing needy items among the orphans and students in remote areas of the State, with the motive to strengthen the Police Public relations.
The unit in the month of September distributed blankets among the down-trodden families of the village Thathaka Gool, Bali added.
