IRP jawan among two die mysteriously

JAMMU, June 28: Two persons including a jawan of Indian Reserve Police (IRP) died today under mysterious circumstances at separate places in city outskirts.
According to police sources, a Senior Grade Constable namely Nisar Ahmed (Belt No 725/AP, 7th IRP battalion) son of Gulam Mohd, resident of Anantnag, was found dead this morning in 7th IRP Battalion, where he was presently posted.
They said that prima facie it appears that the jawan died due to cardiac arrest but Channi Himmat police has initiated inquest proceedings in the case and after getting conducted postmortem, handed over the body to its legal heirs.
Meanwhile, a young woman namely Gouri (22) wife of Sunny Kumar, resident of Chattisgarh died today after complain of vomiting. According to the police sources, as she complained of sudden vomiting, family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
They said that body of the woman was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities and inquest proceedings initiated in the case by Kanachak police.
