JAMMU, Sept 24: Ishant Gupta the BJP J&K State IT head, kick started blacktopping work in Sector 1, Ward No. 50, Channi Himmat which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 25 lakh.
The project was initiated by Neena Gupta, Corporator Ward No. 50 Channi Himmat.
Manjeet Singh, president of Gurudwara Sector 1, Channi Himmat, BJP booth president, Nishant Sharma, social workers, Trishula Gupta and Amit Gandotra, and numerous residents, were present on the occasion.
Ishant Gupta, while addressing the gathering, attributed the inception of this much-needed initiative to the unwavering commitment of Ward No. 50 Corporator Neena Gupta. Despite her temporary absence, Gupta said that BJP remains resolute in delivering on her promise and commitment to enhance connectivity between the main Gurudwara Channi Himmat and SDDM Hospital, a road that had been adversely affected by the repair work of PHE pipelines, disrupting the daily lives of local residents.
Gupta underscored the BJP’s steadfast dedication to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s transformative vision of “Saab Ka Saath, Saab Ka Vikas, Saab ka Vishwas,” emphasizing that the party continuously strives for comprehensive development and the welfare of the public at large.
Manjeet Singh, Trishula Gupta, and Amit Gandotra, also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the exemplary work of corporator Neena Gupta in serving the best interests of the community. They appealed to the public to extend their support again in the upcoming Municipal Urban Local body elections to party.
