JAMMU, May 28: By adhering to all social distancing and hygiene measures, Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicines (AYUSH J&K) organized a COVID-19 Medical Camp and distributed immunity boosting medicines among locals of Qasim Nagar and Bahu Fort in Jammu.
Indian System of Medicines (ISM) supplied the medicines and it was distributed for free among the locals by Gandhi Global Family. 307 persons mostly children and senior citizens were examined by an expert team of doctors deputed by ADMO Jammu Dr Suresh Sharma.
In his message, Dr Mohan Singh Director ISM recommended everyone to adopt herbal medicines and increase their body immunity as a part of proactive measure to counter COVID19.
GGF J&K president Dr S P Varma said that the initiative of ISM especially Director Dr Mohan Singh is giving relief to needy people of Jammu & Kashmir during the ongoing pandemic crisis.
Dr Garima Sharma, Dr Shefali Sharma, Dr Sukhpreet Kaur and Nishad Khajuria represented ISM Jammu while K K Mattoo, S Jaswinder Singh Kuku, Amit Varma, Dr Vishal Pratap Singh, Ragav Changotra, Tariq Naar and Ankush Varma represented the GGF J&K.
The Bethel Charitable Trust made local arrangement at Qasim Nagar, Bahu Fort in Jammu while the camp was jointly inaugurated by Rev Shaukat Peter, president, JK Joint Churches Fellowship and K K Mattoo, GGF advisor J&K. The vote of thanks was presented by Rev John Roques Bhatti.
SHO Bahu Fort Sunil Sharma, Sophia Bhatti (Principal, The Bethel Living Word School), Camres David Babbloo (president, All India Masih Seva Dal), Tittus Gill (vice president, All India Masih Seva Dal), Lila Thakur Jamwal (chairperson Gorkha Sabha), Pashotam Mehra, Amit Sotvg, Elisha Abhishek and Rahul Bhatti were also present.
