JAMMU, July 30: To provide effective services to the tax payers, Income Tax Department today organized camps under its Kardaata e-Sahyog Abhiyaan in different parts of Jammu province.
The camps were organized at Sunderbani in Rajouri, Miran Sahib in Jammu, Garhi in Udhampur, Dayala Chak in Kathua and Bari Brahamana in Samba in which Kar Daata/potential tax payers were demonstrated the salient features of the scheme.
The main aim of the Kardaata e-Sahyog Scheme is to facilitate e-filing of returns, aware tax payers about income tax related matters and related changes in the forms, laws and utilities, organize outreach programmes with taxpayers and e-return preparers and resolve any other problem being faced by the tax payers regarding e-filing of return.
The tax payers expressed great satisfaction and raised many queries regarding the scheme in the camps organized for this purpose which were addressed by the taxation authorities conducting these camps best to the tax payers satisfaction.
