In the recent days a plethora of Central laws have been made applicable to the UT and they have the potential to improve the politico administrative machinary of the J&K, he added.
Raina said that the time to address the issues of the internally displaced people of Kashmir has come. The acknowledgement of the fact that genocide of KPs has taken place in Kashmir would instill some confidence in them for their resettlement in Valley. The issue related to their resettlement has to be differentiated from the move of all those who are going to Kashmir under the PM’s special employment package. The two are entirely different. The resettlement of KPs in Kashmir is a political issue and has to be dealt with politically in accordance with the geo political aspirations of the seven lakhs K Ps globally.
Raina added that the issue related to the passage of the all important Temples and Shrines Bill is still not passed. The priceless heritage of thousands of years is withering away. He sought immediate intervention of LG in the matter.
Kamal Bagati in his address said that the inclusion of all the families in the UT in Ayushman Bharat Scheme is a measure that is unique in the world. Providing health insurance to all the population of the J&K is possible only in Modi Government. The needy sections of the population and in particular the displaced Kashmiri Pandits are so very thankful to the Modi Government for this move.
Convenor youth Sameer Bhat said that the Government needs to move fast on the PM’s Special Employment Package Otherwise KP youth will be forced to leave the J&K in search of jobs.
