ITBP jawan hurt in accidental fire

RAJOURI, Sept 3: An Indo- Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan was seriously injured when his service rifle went off accidentally at Bela Colony here this evening.
A police spokesman said that the incident took place at around 5.15 pm when the Constable, Bhim Singh was on law and order duty in Bela Colony area of Rajouri town today.
His service rifle went off accidentally when he was standing in a lane and the bullet hit his face. With serious injury, he was rushed to District Hospital, Rajouri from where he was referred to Govt Medical College Hospital, Jammu.
