ITI employees apprise FC of demands

JAMMU, Dec 19 : A delegation of ITI Employees United Front headed by Nazir Ahmed Molvi, met Financial Commissioner Finance  Mohd. Iqbal Khanday, and held  detailed discussion on the long pending demands.
The demands include  regularization of all adhocees / contractual / academic / consolidated Vocational Instructor under SRO 255 and policy of those engaged  after 1994 and have completed seven years service, creation of posts for the establishment of 5 ITIs under PMRP II , enhancement of salary of consolidated / contractual/ V. Instructors /Lecturers Polytechnic on revised rate etc.
The delegation comprised of  Rama Kant,  A. K. Hashia,  Subash,  Daljeet Singh and Kewal.  They urged upon the  Financial Commissioner to consider  long pending  genuine demands on priority  basis.
Mr. Khandey assured  the delegation appropriate action on the demands.
