JAMMU, Feb 15: A deputation of J&K ITI Employees United Front met the Commissioner/ Secretary Technical Education Hirdesh Kumar Singh and apprised him of the problems being faced by ITI workers.
Led by Nazir Ahmed Molvi, president of the Front, the members discussed the pending issues of the employees which included holding of DPC, filling up of vacant posts and finalization of the recruitment rules of different categories pending since long.
They also stressed for creation of separate directorate and filling of posts of superintendents and heads of departments in various Institutes. Mr Singh gave patient hearing and assured to resolve their genuine issues. Karan Singh, Parvez Iqbal and Zaffar also accompanied.
