ITI employees discuss demands

JAMMU, May 24: Jammu and Kashmir ITI Employees United Front today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its State president, Nazir Ahmed Molvi at Government Industrial Training Institute, here to discuss their demands.
During the meeting speakers discussed their various demands including holding of DPC, finalization of recruitment Rules, regularization of all adhoc, contractual and consolidated employees and enhancement of salary of academic arrangement staff.
They also demanded that instructors be deputed for short term courses as well as CTI training and pending salaries of employees of ITI Samba and other institutes be released immediately.
The meeting also appreciated Director Technical Education (DTE), J&K, Pervaiz Iqbal Khatib, for its order No 463 dated May 22, 2014, by which all attachments were cancelled. It was unanimously decided in the meeting that DTE will be given full support for such order if implemented in letter and spirit without coming under pressure from various quarters.
Naresh Sharma, Karan Singh, Bushan Khajuria, Arun Suri, Parvez Iqbal, Rajinder Singh Bhau, Anil Gupta, Radha Rani, Sunita Sharma, Parveen Akhter and Nirmala Devi among others attended the meeting.
