ITI Employees Union for appointment orders of non-regularized employees

Srinagar, Mar 24: All Jammu and Kashmir Government ITI Employees Union today urged the government to issue formal appointment orders to all non-regularized employees of the Technical Education Department.
According to a statement issued here, an Executive Body meeting of the Union was held here under chairmanship of Mohammad Abbas wherein among other issues the scenario of Technical Education department was discussed in length.
“The union showed grave concern on the part of the Government for using delaying tactics in issuing formal appointment orders to all adhoc/consolidated and contractual employees of the department who have been cleared and recommended for regularization by the Empowerment committee in April 2015,” the statement read.
The president appealed the Secretary Technical Education to issue formal appointment orders to all those who have been recommended by the Empowerment committee without any further delay “otherwise the union will be forced to come on the roads to agitate against the timid policy of the department”.
