JAMMU, Oct 5: ITI Trained Workers Association held meeting under the chairmanship of its President Devinder Pal Singh and discussed problems.
The meeting was attended by General Secretary Sanjeev Kumar, Atul Gupta, Narinder Sharma, Chander Shekhar Sharma and member of PHE Employees Unioted Front Manjeet Singh.
While speaking, the participants said that in recent statement Lieutenant Governor said that a policy will be framed for surrendered militants in Kashmir, but not spoke a single word for the Jal Shakti daily wagers employees, who are on strike for the past 10 days.
“PHE daily wagers employees are at verge of starvation and facing difficult time to feed their families”, he said and demanded regularization of the employees, who have given their whole life while serving in Jal Shakti Department.
PHE daily wagers employees should be given benefit at par with regularized employees, he demanded.
