JAMMU, June 27: Daughter of Jammu, Mrs Sargam Koushal, who returned today from Mumbai after winning the prestigious “Mrs India World 2022” beauty contest said that it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams and every woman of her age should make efforts to fulfill her dream.

“I am feeling on the top of this world by wearing this crown. With the crown on my head I am feeling as if I am a queen,” Sargam said while talking to Excelsior at a felicitation function organized for her, here today.
Talking about her preparations for the ‘Mrs World’ contest to be held in USA in December this year, Sargam said as of now when she will come to her home, she wants to eat a lot of food and take some rest, which she couldn’t get in last couple of months. Thereafter, she said, she will return to Mumbai and prepare herself for the upcoming beauty pageant.
Throwing light on the beginning of her journey of “Mrs India 2022”, she said it all started 3 years ago, actually 20 years ago when her father wants her to participate in beauty contest but due to stress of education, she couldn’t do that and thought to fulfill her dreams after the marriage.
“During this whole journey, my husband has been my backbone as he wholeheartedly supported me,” Sargam said. When asked about her future prospects in Bollywood, she said presently her whole focus is on ‘Mrs World 2022” contest which is going to be very tough.
On a question regarding her interest in teaching which she was doing earlier, Sargam said I love both the professions. “I feel good with children. My students are my best friends. They are still in my contact though I am not teaching them as of now”. Sargam said she was continuing both teaching and modeling side by side from the beginning but now her more focus is on modeling.
Meanwhile, former DyCM and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta felicitated Sargam, congratulated her and extended best wishes for her forthcoming events. He said that she has set an example for other women to come forward and live their dreams. He said that she has not only made Jammu proud but the entire country is elated through her success. Kavinder said that her family also deserves kudos for allowing her to pursue her dreams and touch the pinnacle of success.
