HYDERABAD: A warm welcome was accorded to US President’s daughter and Advisor Ivanka Trump on her arrival at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad here early on Tuesday morning.
She was received at the Airport by US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster and top Telangana government officials and among others. Soon after her arrival, she drove to Trident Hotel in Madhapur where she will stay in the city as part of her two-day visit.
Ms Trump is expected to be the star attraction at the Global Entrepreneurs Summit (GES). She will go to Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), the venue of the GES at 1500 hours and meet External Affairs Minister Sushama Swaraj at HICC.
She will also make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will arrive at the venue to participate in the inaugural session of the GES after inaugurating the Hyderabad Metro Rail Services at Miyapur station.
Ms.Trump who is leading the US delegation to the GES will along with Mr Modi go to Falaknuma Palace located in the old city of Hyderabad to attend the dinner hosted by the Centre in honour of the GES tonight. Around 1500 delegates will also take part in the dinner.
She will return to the hotel and after the overnight stay, she will attend sessions at HICC and meet international investors and delegates tomorrow before leaving for Dubai in the night. (AGENCIES)
