LONDON, May 7: Actress Drew Barrymore says she has become more conservative after she has grown-up but still likes the innocence of the youth.
The 42-year-old actress, who was emancipated from her parents at the age of 14, says being young has its own charm.
“I’ve become, ironically, much more conservative as an adult and a mother, but I still celebrate expression and silliness.
“I like that it takes a long time to become a grown-up. Being young is a beautiful thing – full of learning curves and lessons and silliness, and stupidity in some ways, but awesome, learned journeys,” Barrymore told Glamour magazine.
The “Santa Clarita Diet” star says she wants her daughters to enjoy their childhood fully before they become adults. (PTI)
