DODA, Jan 13: Indian Youth Congress (IYC) held a protest demonstration at Bhatyas Challar and demanded deployment of SRTC buses.
The activists of IYC led by Mohd Latief Mughal, president, Inderwal raised slogans and demanded plying of SRTC buses on Gundoh to Akhyar Pur Jakyas, Doda to Akhyarpur Jakyas, Bhatyas Challar, Bunjwah, Saroori, Thakrie, Sarthal and other areas.
While speaking, Mohd Latief Mughal demanded immediate sanctioning of an ambulance to Red Cross Kishtwar so that the needy people and various accidental victims will get better medical attention.
Government should direct Traffic Police to keep a strict check on overloading and plying of old model buses due to which road mishaps have become a routine affair, he demanded.
